Despite the Cleveland Browns being well out of the playoff hunt and seeing the emergence of a rookie tight end, the team is unlikely to move veteran tight end David Njoku at the trade deadline, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Harold Fannin Jr., a rookie from Bowling Green, has been one of the team's few bright spots on offense, breaking out for 38 catches, 352 yards, and two touchdowns through eight games, which has made Njoku the subject of trade conjecture, but Schefter is reporting the Browns are more likely to buy than sell. For managers, Njoku is still a top-20 fantasy tight end alongside Fannin, but the continued split likely will keep him from being a solid, every-week starting tight end like he had been in years past.

The Kansas City Chiefs intend to split carries between running backs Kareem Hunt and Brashard Smith on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, according to a report from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Kansas City will be without Isiah Pacheco (knee) this week, and it looks as if the team will employ a committee approach in his absence. Hunt has had consistent touchdown potential for the Chiefs, scoring four times in the past six games, but he has yet to play half the team's snaps in a game this season. Smith had a nice game in the Week 7 blowout of Las Vegas, catching five passes for 42 yards to go with 39 yards rushing, but hasn't been super involved week to week.
