2024 RTSports Outlook

Hall had a breakout season despite the Jets offense struggling much of the season. That didn't slow Hall, finishing second overall in fantasy running back scoring. Hall had seven games with 20-plus fantasy points and double-digit pints all but three games. Hall didn't even reach the 1,000-yard rushing mark but his 76 receptions really boosted his fantasy numbers. He had 1,585 total yards and nine touchdowns. It was an impressive season for the second-year back. Hall will be the top back for the Jets once again and a huge part of the season. And the return for Aaron Rodgers should be a huge boost to the offense and Hall's production, especially when it comes to finding the end zone. Hall is the complete package at running back. He has great vision and hits the hole in a hurry. He makes plays in space and has a great hands. Hall can be a top receiving back because of his top route running and hands. He will be a mainstay in the Jets backfield for years to come.

FANTASY OUTLOOK: Hall is a top-three fantasy back and will be off the board in a hurry come draft day. Look for his numbers to improve even more this year, especially when it comes to finding the end zone. He is the real deal. Hall can get around 1,800 total yards, 70 receptions and 15 total scores.

New York Jets running back Breece Hall (lower body) was held out of minicamp practices as a precaution with a minor lower-body injury. "I'm just focused on continuing to get better and just to keep building my body up for the season," Hall said. "I could practice right now. I feel great, but the coaches are really cautious with me, and I appreciate them for that. It has been a good time still being a part of everything. I do all the walkthroughs and stuff we've been doing." Last year, Hall didn't practice until late August after coming off a torn ACL, but he still racked up 1,588 scrimmage yards and nine touchdowns in 2023. It may raise some eyebrows that he's dealing with an injury this offseason, but as long as he's fine in training camp, fantasy managers should have no worries taking Hall as a top-three fantasy RB in the first round of drafts.

New York Jets running back Breece Hall (lower body) remained out of practice on Tuesday as he works his way back from a lower-body injury. The 23-year-old has been working off to the side during the team's offseason activities, but head coach Robert Saleh suggested the injury is minor. It's too early to worry about his injury considering the 2024 season is roughly three months away, but his status is worth monitoring throughout the remainder of the offseason. Hall is in play to be the first running back selected after Christian McCaffrey in 2024 fantasy drafts following an RB4 finish in half-PPR leagues last year. Despite starting the year slowly due to a lingering knee injury, Hall rushed 223 times for 994 yards and five touchdowns and caught 76 passes for 591 yards and four scores. With Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) back in action this year, Hall should have more touchdown equity in his third pro campaign. If he struggles to stay healthy, rookie fourth-rounder Braelon Allen could see plenty of action behind him.

New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said that running back Breece Hall (lower body) is "dealing with some lower-half stuff," but the team isn't concerned about it right now. Hall is set to work off to the side again on Tuesday. The 23-year-old was also working off to the side in a rehab group at organized team activities open to the media last week. It sounds like a minor injury, but it's something to keep an eye on as we approach the start of training camp at the end of July. As long as Hall is back on the field then, fantasy managers looking to draft him as an RB1 this fall shouldn't have anything to worry about. The former second-rounder in 2022 out of Iowa State tore his ACL in his rookie year but bounced back last year to finish with 994 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 223 carries, adding 76 receptions for 591 yards and another four scores. If Hall can stay healthy in 2024, he should be a lock for his first 1,000-yard season.

New York Jets running back Breece Hall (undisclosed) is working in the rehab area during organized team activities this week. It's unclear what type of injury Hall is dealing with or when he suffered it, but it doesn't sound very serious and it shouldn't negatively impact his fantasy value as the 2024 season approaches this fall. If the 22-year-old RB1 is unable to take part in mandatory minicamp in June, it will then become a bigger issue. With Hall out this week, running backs Israel Abanikanda, Braelon Allen and Isaiah Davis should all see more work at OTAs, in addition to recent signee Tarik Cohen as he attempts to revive his career. With quarterback Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) returning, Hall's fantasy upside this year will be even higher with the offense expected to be more explosive.

Jets' RB Breece Hall scored 29.00 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 18 win in New England. Hall ran for 178 yards and caught two passes for 12 yards with one touchdown.

Jan 7 7:20pm CT

New York Jets running back Breece Hall handled a whopping 37 carries for 178 yards and a touchdown in a 17-3 win over the division-rival New England Patriots. He secured both of his targets for 12 yards and added a two-point conversion. The second-year pro was featured heavily on Sunday as both teams struggled to pass amid snowy weather conditions. Hall tallied more yards on the ground than the Jets and Patriots gained through the air combined. He also was responsible for the only touchdown of the contest, a 50-yard breakaway run late in the fourth quarter that sealed the victory. With this performance, Hall will conclude the campaign just shy of 1,000 rushing yards, but his 1,585 yards from scrimmage and nine total touchdowns are nothing to scoff at. The 22-year-old should be considered a locked-in fantasy RB1 heading into next season.

Jets' RB Breece Hall ran for 178 yards on 37 carries with one touchdown in Sunday's win in New England.

Jan 5 11:40pm CT

New York Jets running back Breece Hall has been excellent for fantasy purposes as of late and will hope to find continued success in a Week 18 divisional clash with the New England Patriots. Although New England has been incredibly stout against the run this season, much of Hall's production has come from his heavy utilization as a pass-catcher. The second-year pro has earned the most targets of any running back this year and has received 25 looks from quarterback Trevor Siemian in his two starts. Expectations should be tempered for Hall in this matchup, but fantasy managers can continue to trust him as a solid RB2.

Dec 30 7:15pm CT

Jets' RB Breece Hall scored 27.60 fantasy points in Thursday's Week 17 loss in Cleveland. Hall ran for 84 yards and caught nine passes for 42 yards with one touchdown.

Dec 28 11:10pm CT

New York Jets running back Breece Hall turned 13 carries into 84 rushing yards and secured all nine of his targets for 42 receiving yards and a touchdown in a Week 17 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Hall and the Jets got off to a strong start as the 22-year-old ripped off a 25-yard run and took a short pass from Trevor Siemian 21 yards to the end zone on the team's first offensive possession. Although New York failed to sustain many drives as the contest went on, Hall continued to run efficiently and was heavily involved in the passing game. He'll look to end the campaign on a high note when the Jets travel to Foxborough to face the New England Patriots in Week 18.

Dec 27 11:50pm CT

New York Jets running back Breece Hall is fresh off a massive performance in Week 16 but will draw a difficult matchup on the road against the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night. The Browns' defense has been stout this season, especially at home, where it is surrendering just 87.4 rushing yards per contest. With Trevor Siemian making a second consecutive start, it's difficult to project New York's offense for much success, but Hall has been so heavily involved in the passing game that it may not matter. Fantasy managers should continue to start the 22-year-old as a solid RB2 this week.

Dec 26 12:00pm CT

Jets' RB Breece Hall scored an impressive 43.10 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 16 win against the Commanders. Hall ran for 95 yards and caught 12 passes for 96 yards with two touchdowns.

Dec 25 12:30am CT

New York Jets running back Breece Hall handled 20 carries for 95 yards and two touchdowns while securing 12 of his 16 targets for 96 yards in a 30-28 win over the Washington Commanders. Fantasy managers who continued to trust Hall after a massive letdown in Week 15 were greatly rewarded with the 22-year-old's best output of the campaign. He tallied a career-high in receptions and ripped off a 36-yard score in the first quarter before finding the end zone from two yards out just before halftime. Unfortunately, Hall will have to face the Browns in Cleveland next week, but he should remain in starting fantasy lineups regardless.

From RotoBaller

Dec 24 4:30pm CT

New York Jets' RB Breece Hall had 12 receptions for 96 yards but no touchdowns in Sunday's win against the Commanders.

Dec 22 8:10pm CT

New York Jets running back Breece Hall was completely shut down by the Miami Dolphins last week but has a great opportunity to bounce back against the Washington Commanders in Week 16. The Jets' offense is difficult to trust, especially this week with quarterback Trevor Siemian starting in place of Zach Wilson (concussion), but Hall should find success with the Commanders surrendering the eighth-most fantasy points to running backs this season. Additionally, Washington leads the NFL in points allowed, so Hall could easily find himself in position to score at some point on Sunday. While a productive showing cannot be guaranteed, fantasy managers should have some level of confidence that Hall can perform as an RB2 in this matchup.
