There is not a limit. You can see why your catchers weren't added by going to Reports > Waiver Wire from the menu. In this case, both the catchers you had claims in for were picked up by teams in front of you.
There's a free-for-all add/drop opportunity every Monday starting at 10am ET until the first game starts Monday - you can always pickup a player then if you miss out on all your claim options in the waiver wire the night before.

also, in this league, i just a claim in, how come theres a section under the players with strider and it says "protected player"....what does it mean protected player?
how do we add players, like right now? or is the only time the sunday night waiver claim thing?
