Los Angeles Dodgers infielder/outfielder Tommy Edman (ankle) is heading to the 10-day injured list, retroactive to April 30, after suffering an ankle injury on Tuesday earlier this week. It was reported that he "tweaked" his ankle during Tuesday's game, and it didn't seem too serious, but he will now be out for several games in the short term with right ankle inflammation. The 29-year-old was slashing .252/.295/.523 with eight home runs, 24 RBI, 19 runs scored, and two steals over 30 games before the injury, so there is a good amount of production and versatility that the Dodgers will be missing.
