Lawrence finally has huge game
Scoring was a little erratic once again in Week 11. There were five players that topped 30 fantasy points, leading to some higher scoring fantasy games. But there were also some elite players that did little or got hurt. Some teams really struggled to get fantasy points. Hopefully, you were on the positive side of things in Week 11, taking advantage of some of those big fantasy performances.
Ravens 34, Bengals 20
Fantasy Stud: Gus Edwards. Edwards continues to find the end zone on a weekly basis. He had 12 carries for 62 yards and two touchdowns. He has found the end zone five straight games. Edwards actually has multiple scores three of those games. Despite his yardage totals and reception numbers being fairly pedestrian, Edwards had become a must start for fantasy teams because of his touchdown numbers.
Fantasy Dud: Tyler Boyd. Boyd had just three catches for 22 yards. He was coming off a 100-yard performance so expectations were high for him in this one. He struggled to do much, though. Boyd had 13-plus fantasy points three of four games before this dud.
Game Notes: Joe Burrow suffered a wrist injury during the game and was forced to leave. It was revealed after the game that he suffered a season-ending injury, leaving Jake Browning as the starter going forward for the Bengals. He was 8-of-14 for 68 yards and a touchdown in this game.
Odell Beckham had his first 100-yard game as a Raven. He had four receptions for 116 yards. He has three straight games with double-digit fantasy points.
Jaguars 34, Titans 14
Fantasy Stud: Trevor Lawrence. Lawrence finally had a huge game, scoring four times. He was 24-of-32 for 262 yards and two touchdowns without a turnover. He also ran five times for 17 yards and two more touchdowns. Lawrence topped 30 fantasy points for the first time all season. It was a very welcome sight after two down game and mediocre numbers much of the season for Lawrence
Fantasy Dud: Derrick Henry. Henry had a pretty pedestrian game, rushing 10 times for 38 yards. He caught just a pass for six yards. Henry scored just 5.4 fantasy points and has fewer than 40-rushing yards two straight. He has just 8.8 fantasy points his last two games. Henry has been a lot more inconsistent this year than past seasons.
Game Notes: Calvin Ridley had one of his big showings. He had seven receptions for 103 yards and two touchdowns.
DeAndre Hopkins had four receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown. Hopkins has found the end zone two of four games.
Texans 21, Cardinals 16
Fantasy Stud: Nathaniel Dell. Dell continued his great play. He had eight receptions for 149 yards and a touchdown. Dell has scores three straight games and 100-yard games two of three. He is having a huge rookie season and is quickly becoming a top target in the Texans offense
Fantasy Dud: Marquise Brown. Brown had just two receptions for 18 yards. Brown has done next to nothing since Kyler Murray returned to the lineup. He has fewer than 30 yards three straight games. He is really hard to trust right now with his low numbers lately.
Game Notes: Devin Singletary has two straight 100-yard rushing games. He ran 22 times for 112 yards and a touchdown.
C.J. Stroud had multiple interceptions for the first time in his career. He was 27-of-37 for 336 yards and two touchdowns with three interceptions. He still helped fantasy teams despite the turnovers, scoring 21.8 fantasy points.
Lions 31, Bears 26
Fantasy Stud: D.J. Moore. Moore enjoyed the return of Justin Fields. He had great game, catching seven passes for 96 yards and a touchdown. Moore scored 22.6 fantasy points, his highest total since Week 5. Moore has three games this season with 20-plus fantasy points.
Fantasy Dud: Cole Kmet. Kmet came back down to earth after some really big showings. He caught three passes for just 20 yards. Kmet had at least five receptions three straight games before this one. He remains a solid low-end No. 1 fantasy tight end but this game showed once again that he can disappear some weeks.
Game Notes: Just Fields looked good in his return. He was 16-of-23 for 169 yards and a touchdown without a turnover. He also hit the 100-yard mark rushing. Fields ran 18 times for 104 yards.
Khalil Herbert led the Bears in carries in his first game back from injury. Herbert ran 16 times for just 35 yards. He had two catches for six yards.
Cowboys 33, Panthers 10
Fantasy Stud: Tony Pollard. Pollard had one of his best fantasy games of the season. He had 12 carries for 61 yards and a touchdown. He also caught four passes for 19 yards. Pollard finished with 18 fantasy points, his highest total since Week 2. Hopefully, this game gets Pollard going for the rest of the season
Fantasy Dud: Dak Prescott. Prescott played fine but didn’t help fantasy teams much in this one. He was 25-of-38 for 189 yards and two touchdowns without a turnover. He scored just 18.05 fantasy points, breaking a streak of three straight games with 30-plus fantasy points. Game script matters and with the Cowboys up big once again, Prescott didn’t air it out much in the second half.
Game Notes: Adam Thielen had eight receptions for 74 yards. He got it going again after two down games for his standards. This was his fifth game of the season with at least eight receptions.
CeeDee Lamb found the end zone once again, catching six passes for 38 yards and a score. Lamb has scores two straight and three of four games.
Packers 23, Chargers 20
Fantasy Stud: Keenan Allen. Allen came into the game with a shoulder injury, but that didn’t slow him one bit. He had 10 receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown. Allen has two straight games with double-digit receptions. Allen has at least eight receptions four straight games and is already over 1,000 yards for the season
Fantasy Dud: Quentin Johnston. Johnston proved he is hard to trust once again. Just when you thought he was getting it going, he catches two passes for just 21 yards. He also had a really bad drop late in the game that would have gone for a big gain. Johnston is too hit or miss for fantasy teams right now.
Game Notes: Aaron Jones suffered a knee injury in the game and was forced to leave. This is an injury to watch going forward. Jones had four carries for 14 yards before getting hurt.
Jordan Love had one of his best games as a pro, going 27-of-40 for 322 yards and two touchdowns without a turnover.
Giants 31, Commanders 19
Fantasy Stud: Saquon Barkley. Barkley showed his dual threat ability in this one. He ran 14 times for 83 yards, averaging 5.9 yards per carry. He also caught four passes for 57 yards and two touchdowns, giving 140 total yards. Barkley had a season high 30 fantasy points
Fantasy Dud: Terry McLaurin. McLaurin was pretty quiet in a game that the Commanders threw the ball 45 times. He had five receptions for just 43 yards. He failed to hit double-digit fantasy points for the second straight game. It was not a good showing for McLaurin, who had been pretty consistent much of the season before his recent stretch.
Game Notes: The Giants gave rookie quarterback Tommy DeVito more chances to push the ball down the field and he made the most of it. He was 18-of-26 for 246 yards and three touchdowns without a turnover.
Brian Robinson continues to get more chances in the passing game, helping his fantasy production. He rushed 17 times for 73 yards and caught seven passes for 58 yards. Robinson has 13 catches his last two games.
Browns 13, Steelers 10
Fantasy Stud: Jaylen Warren. There was little offense in this game, but Warren was a big factor. He had nine carries for 129 yards and a touchdown, averaging a whooping 14.3 yards per carry. He also had three receptions for 16 yards. Warren has at least 14 fantasy points three straight games. He had a season-high 23.5 fantasy points in this one.
Fantasy Dud: Kenny Pickett. Pickett really struggled, failing to even throw for 100 yards. This really killed all the pass catchers in the Steelers offense. Pickett was 15-of-28 for 99 yards without a touchdown or an interception. Pickett just hasn’t taken the step forward this season that many hoped.
Game Notes: Dorian Thompson-Robinson wasn’t great in a starting role but did enough to win the game for the Browns. He was 24-of-43 for 15 yards with n interception. He ran the ball three times for 20 yards. Expect him to continue to start as long as his team is winning.
David Njoku topped double-digit fantasy points for the fifth straight game. He had seven receptions for 56 yards.
Dolphins 20, Raiders 13
Fantasy Stud: Tyreek Hill. Hill suffered a hand injury and had to leave the game briefly, but that didn’t slow him down from producing big. He had 10 receptions for 146 yards and a touchdown. Hill hit the double-digit reception mark for the third time. He has at least double-digit fantasy points every single game this season
Fantasy Dud: Josh Jacobs. The Dolphins did a great job of containing Jacobs. He ran 14 times for just 39 yards. He caught just a pass for 12 yards. Jacobs scored just 6.1 fantasy points, breaking a streak of at least 13 fantasy points three straight games.
Game Notes: Devon Achane returned from his knee injury but didn’t last long, leaving early because of injury. He had a carry for a yard and a catch for four yards before getting hurt.
Davante Adams continues to be more involved in the Raiders passing game. He had seven receptions for 82 yards and a touchdown. He has two straight games with 80-plus yards.
49ers 27, Bucs 14
Fantasy Stud: Brandon Aiyuk. Aiyuk had five receptions for 156 yards and a touchdown. He has 100-yard games two of three and four total for the season. Aiyuk is having his best season as a pro and continues to have big fantasy performances in this explosive offense. He has taken another step forward this season
Fantasy Dud: Chris Godwin. Godwin had another disappointing fantasy performance. He had six receptions for just 39 yards on eight targets. He failed to hit double-digit fantasy points. He has been under double-digit fantasy points three straight games. Godwin is having a really disappointing season for all his fantasy owners.
Game Notes: Brock Purdy was nearly flawless, going 21-of-25 for 333 yards and three touchdowns without a turnover. He has two straight three-touchdown games and 24-plus fantasy points three straight.
George Kittle scored a touchdown for the second straight game. He had eight receptions for 89 yards and a score. He has three straight games with 20-plus fantasy points.
Rams 17, Seahawks 16
Fantasy Stud: D.K. Metcalf. Metcalf had five receptions for 94 yards and a touchdown. It was the first time all season Metcalf topped 20 fantasy points. He has double-digit fantasy points all but a game, though. Metcalf has been very consistent but not off the charts much of the season
Fantasy Dud: Matthew Stafford. Stafford looked healthy in his first game back, but was not help to his fantasy teams. He threw for just 189 yards and had a touchdown with an interception. Stafford scored just 12.65 fantasy points. He has just one game all season with more than 20 fantasy points, giving him little fantasy value.
Game Notes: Cooper Kupp suffered an ankle injury and had to leave the game early. Kupp had a catch for 11 yards before leaving the game.
Kenneth Walker is another back that was hurt in this game, leaving because of an oblique injury. Walker had four carries for 18 yards before the injury.
Bills 32, Jets 6
Fantasy Stud: Josh Allen. Allen got back to his good ways in this game, going 20-of-32 for 275 yards and three touchdowns with an interception against a good Jets pass defense. And his interceptions was a Hair Mary at the end of the first half. Allen played a solid game, scoring 26.25 fantasy points. He has 26-plus fantasy points four of five games
Fantasy Dud: Garrett Wilson. Wilson was a nonfactor with the Jets having terrible success throwing the ball. Wilson caught just two passes for nine yards and lost a fumble on one of his catches. It was a game to forget for Wilson. The bad quarterback play is a big concern for Wilson going forward.
Game Notes: Breece Hall did not have much success running, rushing 10 times for just 23 yards, but led the team in receiving. He had five receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown.
Ty Johnson got some surprise usage in this game. He ran three times for 11 yards, and had three receptions for 47 yards and a touchdown.
Broncos 21, Vikings 20
Fantasy Stud: Courtland Sutton. Sutton found the end zone once again, scoring for the fifth straight game. He had four receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown. He has eight touchdowns on the season, scoring eight of 10 games. Sutton has been a consistent fantasy scorer all season long
Fantasy Dud: Javonte Williams. There were a lot of duds in this low scoring game, but Williams was our biggest disappointment. He ran 11 times for 37 yards and caught two passes for 16 yards. He was starting to really get it going, so this poor showing was a surprise for many fantasy owners.
Game Notes: Joshua Dobbs didn’t have his best game against a good Broncos defense, but still managed to score 21.15 fantasy points. He has 20-plus fantasy points four straight games. He was 20-of-32 for 221 yards and a touchdown with an interception. Dobbs also ran for 21 yards and a score.
Alexander Mattison was able to clear the concussion protocol and play, rushing 18 times for 81 yards. Ty Chandler was more involved in the offense, though, running 10 times for 73 yards. Chandler could be getting more chances going forward.

Tennessee Titans rookie running back Kalel Mullings (abdomen) is recovering from offseason core-muscle surgery and will be limited at the team's rookie minicamp, according to the Nashville Post's John Glennon. Additionally, rookie safety Kevin Winston Jr. (knee) is not participating at minicamp, although he's getting closer to a return from his knee injury. The 22-year-old Mullings was taken in the sixth round of this year's NFL draft. When he's cleared from his injury, he will compete for the RB3 role in Tennessee in his first year in the league behind running backs Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears. Mullings won't have any redraft fantasy value in 2025 unless one of Pollard or Spears miss time with injury. Winston, who was taken in the third round, is recovering from a torn right ACL that caused him to miss most of the 2024 season at Penn State.

New Orleans Saints rookie fourth-round cornerback Quincy Riley (undisclosed) is recovering from an undisclosed surgery and did not take part in drills at rookie minicamp on Saturday, according to The New Orleans Times-Picayune's Matthew Paras. Head coach Kellen Moore said that Riley's surgery was not related to the ankle injury that he dealt with in college at Louisville. The young defensive back is missing valuable reps with the rest of the team's rookies, and it remains to be seen if he'll be ready for on-field work during organized team activities in late May. Hopefully, Riley will at least be ready for the start of training camp at the end of July. Even if Riley is ready to go for OTAs later this month and mandatory minicamp in June, he'll be competing for a depth role with the Saints as he heads into his first year in the NFL.

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed free-agent running back Trey Sermon to an undisclosed one-year deal on Sunday, sources told FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz. Sermon will head to the AFC North after spending the last two seasons with the Indianapolis Colts as a backup to Jonathan Taylor, where he saw 91 carries for 319 yards (3.5 yards per carry) and two touchdowns on the ground in 31 games (three starts). He added 19 receptions on 25 targets for 112 yards through the air. The 26-year-old former third-rounder (88th overall) by the San Francisco 49ers in 2021 out of Ohio State will now join a crowded backfield in Pittsburgh that includes rookie third-rounder Kaleb Johnson, Jaylen Warren and free-agent acquisition Kenneth Gainwell. Sermon only averaged 2.8 yards a carry in 2024 and will likely need an injury or two to resurface on the fantasy radar in the Steel City.

In the wake of quarterback Derek Carr's (shoulder) retirement on Saturday, New Orleans Saints head coach Kellen Moore said that the team will rotation all of their quarterbacks -- rookie second-rounder Tyler Shough, second-year man Spencer Rattler and Jake Haener -- to give them all opportunities as they look to win the starting job heading into the 2025 season. "We're going to let all three of these guys roll," Moore said. Shough is already 25 years old and has plenty of collegiate experience, giving him the initial leg up as the favorite to take over for Carr this year. However, Rattler, a fifth-round pick in 2024, did play in seven games (six starts) in his rookie campaign, completing just 57% of his 228 pass attempts for 1,317 yards, four touchdowns and five interceptions. Haener has thrown only 39 NFL passes. Whoever wins the job in New Orleans will be considered a low-end QB2 for those in superflex fantasy formats.

The Denver Broncos have intentionally been getting rookie second-round running back RJ Harvey pass-catching reps in rookie minicamp. General manager George Paton said that Harvey might have the best vision of any RB in this year's NFL draft. The young runner set Central Florida's all-time touchdown record and led the Big 12 in rushing touchdowns in his final season in 2024. He also became the second player in school history to record consecutive 1,000-yard seasons. Harvey caught only 20 passes at UCF last season, but head coach Sean Payton said Harvey will have the ability to play on third down -- in addition to first and second own -- because of a variety of protection options. It sounds like Payton plans on using Harvey more as a pass-catcher at the next level, and he has the skills to become a three-down back sooner than later for the Broncos in 2025.

Chicago Bears rookie second-round wide receiver Luther Burden III still feels disrespected that he wasn't selected in the first round of this year's NFL draft. "I feel like teams that passed up on me are going to regret it," Burden said. "I just want to make everybody pay." Burden has been impressive in the early portions of rookie minicamp after being a first-team All-SEC selection the last two years. He caught 192 passes for 2,263 yards and 21 touchdowns in three college seasons at Missouri. The 21-year-old will join first-round rookie tight end Colston Loveland in an offense that already features pass-catchers DJ Moore, Rome Odunze, Cole Kmet and Olamide Zaccheaus. The 6-foot, 206-pound Burden will initially be competing with Zaccheaus this summer for the WR3 role in Chicago. Volume will be an issue, but Burden certainly has intriguing after-the-catch abilities.
From RotoBaller
Per the team's transaction log, the Cleveland Browns have signed fourth-round running back Dylan Sampson and second-round linebacker Carson Schwesinger to their rookie contracts. Schwesinger will make $11.8 million over his four-year deal, while Sampson is set to make $5.13 million over his. Sampson, 20, broke out in his final season at Tennessee with a stellar 1,491 yards and 22 TDs over 258 carries, adding another 20 catches and 143 yards through the air. He took home SEC Offensive Player of the Year honors. Schwesinger, on the other hand, was a Butkus Award finalist (nation's best linebacker) and ranked third in the FBS with 136 total tackles. Sampson's path to playing time is a little murkier than Schwesinger's, as the latter should push for immediate snaps in the Browns' linebacker room. Still, both players stand to make an impact on a rebuilding Cleveland roster in 2025.

Per the team's transcript on Thursday, San Francisco 49ers offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak noted that wide receiver Jauan Jennings still views himself as the No.1 guy in San Francisco. Specifically, Kubiak was asked if Jennings would resume WR1 duties for the team with uncertainty surrounding teammate Brandon Aiyuk's (knee) status. "I think, if you ask Jauan, he says 'I'm No. 1," he replied. "And that's his mindset, and that's why we love Jauan." The 27-year-old was an afterthought in fantasy drafts last summer, but injuries opened up opportunity, and the former seventh-round pick ran with it. Jennings led all 49ers pass-catchers not named George Kittle in receptions (77), yards (975), and touchdowns (six). He may have to stave off a second-year ascension from fellow wideout Ricky Pearsall, but Jennings should again have a shot to be productive in 2025.
From RotoBaller
Buffalo Bills rookie fourth-round defensive tackle Deone Walker (back) is feeling great despite playing last year with a back injury, but the Bills are playing it safe and easing him into rookie minicamp. "I had a pars defect in my back," Walker said. "I didn't know about it until after the season, really until the combine. We didn't really know what it was, but I feel a 100% right now." While the former Kentucky product wasn't always on the field with his fellow rookie teammates, he said he got in a lot of drill work and was putting in the mental reps while learning the playbook. The 21-year-old is a beast of a human being at 6-foot-7, 331 pounds. He was much more productive for the Wildcats when he was fully healthy in 2023, and he's expected to begin his NFL career as more of a rotational interior defensive lineman in Buffalo.
From RotoBaller
Now that quarterback Derek Carr (shoulder) has announced his retirement, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport writes that it sets the stage for rookie second-round quarterback Tyler Shough to be the team's eventual starter in 2025. Shough's stock for his rookie campaign was already rising with Carr's availability in question for 2025 due to a shoulder injury, but now Carr is out of the picture completely. The 25-year-old Shough will be competing primarily with Spencer Rattler, who completed just 57% of his passes while throwing four touchdowns and five interceptions in his rookie season in 2024. Even if the Saints give Shough a little more time to develop and name Rattler the starter for Week 1, it seems likely that Shough will be starting games in the Big Easy sooner than later in 2025. Shough is old for a rookie and has plenty of experience, making him the current favorite over Rattler for QB1 duties.

The New Orleans Saints announced on Saturday that quarterback Derek Carr (shoulder) is retiring. Carr experienced pain in his right shoulder in March while ramping up his preparation for the 2025 season, and medical scans showed that he was dealing with a labral tear and also had significant degenerative changes to his rotator cuff. Surgery was an option, which would have knocked him out for all of 2025, but there still wasn't a guarantee that he'd return to the same level of strength, function and performance. After discussing with his wife, Heather, Carr has decided to hang up his cleats after 11 seasons in the NFL. In 169 regular-season starts, Carr made four Pro Bowls and threw for 41,245 yards, 257 touchdowns and 112 interceptions, with all but two of his seasons coming with the Raiders. With Carr now out of the picture in the Big Easy, second-round rookie Tyler Shough and Spencer Rattler will battle for the starting gig in training camp.
From RotoBaller
New Orleans Saints QB Derek Carr officially announced his retirement from the NFL Saturday, May 10, according to a press release from the team.
Fantasy Spin: Carr had been in jeopardy of missing the upcoming season after experiencing pain in his right shoulder while throwing in late March, on the heels of having had his 2024 campaign cut short due to a concussion and left hand injury. Eventually, it was revealed that Carr had a torn labrum and had significant degenerative changes to his rotator cuff. Surgery had been under consideration but there was no guarantee that the 34-year-old veteran would have been the same caliber of player if he had chosen to continue his career. QBs Spencer Rattler, Jake Haener and rookie Tyler Shough will battle for the Saints' starting job but none of these options should be considered as anything more than low-end QB2 options in deeper fantasy leagues at this point.
From TheHuddle
The San Francisco 49ers signed offensive lineman Andre Dillard, cornerback Dallis Flowers and offensive lineman Nicholas Petit-Frere to undisclosed one-year deals on Friday, according to NBC Sports Bay Area's Jennifer Lee Chan. Dillard appeared in 10 games (no starts) for the Green Bay Packers in 2024 but was unable to play in the wild-card playoff loss to the Philadelphia Eagles due to a concussion. The 29-year-old offensive lineman was the 22nd overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft by the Eagles out of Washington State, but he'll now compete for a reserve tackle role in the Bay Area for the 2025 campaign. Dillard spent the first three years of his NFL career in Philadelphia before joining the Tennessee Titans in 2023 and the Packers a season ago.
From RotoBaller
The San Francisco 49ers waived former second-round defensive end Drake Jackson (knee) with a failed-physical designation on Friday, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Jackson continues to rehab a knee injury but is expected to be cleared by the start of training camp this summer. The Niners also waived offensive lineman Jalen McKenzie and cornerback Tre Tomlinson after signing offensive linemen Andre Dillard and Nicholas Petit-Frere and cornerback Dallis Flowers. Jackson, 24, the 61st overall pick in 2022 out of USC, missed the final 12 games of the 2023 season, including the postseason, and all of the 2024 campaign due to his knee injury. In his first two seasons before the injury, he had only 21 tackles (12 solo), six sacks, five tackles for loss, nine QB hits, an interception and nine pass breakups in 23 games (no starts).

Former Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants linebacker Jaylon Smith, who last played in the NFL in 2023, is taking part in the Las Vegas Raiders' minicamp this weekend on a tryout basis, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Smith was a second-round selection (34th overall) in 2016 out of Notre Dame and had 100-plus total tackles in three of his first four NFL seasons with Dallas, earning his lone Pro Bowl selection in 2019. He has bounced around the league and dealt with injuries since leaving the Cowboys, but he did have 88 total tackles (46 solo) and a sack in 13 games (11 starts) with the Giants in 2022. He only played in one game with Vegas in 2023 and was briefly on the Pittsburgh Steelers' practice squad last year, but he didn't see any action. The 29-year-old would give the Raiders some additional linebacker depth if he reunites with them.
From RotoBaller
The Pittsburgh Steelers announced on Friday that they signed third-round rookie running back Kale Johnson to his four-year deal. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The Steelers took Johnson out of the University of Iowa with the 83rd overall pick. "Really explosive running back that we spent some time with on a 30 visit here," said offensive coordinator Arthur Smith. "One of the more instinctive backs that I've watched in a couple of years coming out of the draft." In 35 career games (22 starts) for the Hawkeyes, Johnson had 508 carries for 2,779 yards and 30 touchdowns, adding 29 catches for 240 yards and two touchdowns. The 21-year-old stands at 6-foot-1, 224 pounds and is a big bruising back with plenty of big-play potential. Johnson figures to eventually supplant Najee Harris as the Steelers' lead back after Harris left in free agency this offseason.
From RotoBaller
The Atlanta Falcons signed rookie first-round linebacker Jalon Walker to his four-year deal on Friday, the team announced. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it's estimated to be $20.56 million in total value. He would carry salary cap number of $3.74 million this year before topping out at $6.54 million in 2028. In addition to Walker, rookie safety Xavier Watts, defensive back Billy Bowman Jr. and offensive tackle Jack Nelson signed their rookie deals. Atlanta took Walker with the 15th overall pick in this year's draft out of Georgia. It remains to be seen if the Falcons will use the 6-foot-1, 243-pounder as an inside linebacker or as a pass-rushing outside linebacker in his first year in the NFL. In 11 starts with the Bulldogs in 2024, the 21-year-old had 60 tackles (10.5 for loss), 6.5 sacks and two pass breakups.
From RotoBaller
The New York Giants released wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey on Friday, a source told The Athletic's Dan Duggan. Humphrey will head right back to the free-agent market after signing with the G-Men in late March. Humphrey posted career-highs in catches (31), targets (45) and receiving yards (293) while catching one touchdown pass in 17 regular-season games (seven starts) in his second year with the Denver Broncos in 2024. The 27-year-old was set to serve as wideout depth in the Big Apple this year, but he has lost his roster spot after the Giant recently signed five undrafted rookie free-agent wideouts. Humphrey should latch on with another team as receiver depth. In six NFL seasons, Humphrey has produced only 62 receptions for 770 yards and seven touchdowns on 92 targets over 58 games played (23 starts).
From RotoBaller
While searching for a wide receiver, the Dallas Cowboys looked into a trade for Baltimore Ravens wideout Rashod Bateman, sources told FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz. The talks between the two teams didn't go far, though, and Dallas ultimately ended up acquiring pass-catcher George Pickens after this year's NFL draft. Bateman attracted interest from a receiver-needy team after a career year in 2024 in which he caught 45 of his 72 targets for 756 yards and nine touchdowns in 17 regular-season games (14 starts). It was nice to see from the 25-year-old former first-rounder, but fantasy managers probably shouldn't expect more growth in 2025, especially not in the touchdown department. The Ravens remain a run-first offensive operation, and the addition of veteran DeAndre Hopkins won't help Bateman's cause. Zay Flowers should once again lead Baltimore in targets if he stays healthy.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears rookie first-round tight end Colston Loveland (shoulder) has been unavailable during practice during rookie minicamp while rehabbing from surgery that he had on his shoulder in January. While he's unavailable for on-field work, Loveland is focusing on the mental side of things, learning the offensive scheme and developing chemistry with quarterback Caleb Williams. The 21-year-old 10th overall pick in this year's NFL draft is expected to increase his activity by the time mandatory minicamp rolls around early next month, and he should be fully ready to go by training camp this summer as he enters his first year in the NFL. The Bears still have Cole Kmet at the position, but the 6-foot-6, 260-pound Loveland could be Chicago's top pass-catching TE by season's end. As he shares playing time with Kmet in Year 1, fantasy managers should temper expectations in 2025.
