White is playing his best football

This is always my favorite Lineup Prep column of the season to write. I do the same thing every year, talking about things I’m thankful for from a fantasy perspective. It is the Thanksgiving edition of Lineup Prep. So without further ado. . . .

First off, I want to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. I don’t know about you, but hits is my favorite holiday of the year. You get football. You get great food. And you get to do it with family and friends. I just feel like Thanksgiving isn’t quite a stressful as some of the other holiday. I really look forward to it every year. Here is to hoping you hav a great Thanksgiving this year.

I am thankful for the great fantasy football community. While I was doing my weekly hit on the Colton and the Wolfman show last night, Rick Wolf made a great point about our fantasy football community. It is an inclusive community that does it’s best to help everyone in it. This isn’t the case for a lot of industries, so we are really fortunate to be just a small part of it. I love seeing people pulling for each other and helping everyone in it. It is just a welcome sight these days when our world seems more divided as ever.

I am thankful that the tight end position is finally adding some impactful young talent. It seems like we think that is going to happen every season, but it doesn’t. Well, this year it is happening. There are a lot of good, young tight ends ready to make an impact for years to come. Maybe this position finally won’t be as top heavy going forward. Thank you to Dalton Kincaid and Sam LaPorta for helping ushering in that change.

I am thankful to share the love of fantasy sports with my son, Henry. I'm so fortunate to have someone in my same household that loves fantasy sports as much as I do. It is so cool for me to do videos with him, talking about fantasy strategy. Henry gets better feedback than I do for those videos. He does such a great job and it brings me joy to see so many people enjoy seeing him on there. I’m lucky to get to experience that.

I am thankful for leagues winners. Normally, it isn’t the high draft picks that win leagues for owners, but the guys in the middle rounds that outproduce. It is such a great feeling to draft those players, seeing your offseason preparation pay off to help you win your leagues. Players that fit that bill this year are Raheem Mostert, Brian Robinson, Adam Thielen and Puka Nacua. Here is to hoping you got some of these players on your teams this year.

I am thankful for the ever changing landscape of fantasy football. It is great to see the industry getting innovative, coming up with new games and formats that keep things interesting. Don’t get me wrong, the leagues you have been in forever are usually the best, but it is fun to try new formats and games. The super flex leagues are a great example of this, becoming more and more popular. It is fun to try new things - even when it comes to fantasy.

I am thankful for C.J. Stroud. This guy is going to be a star for years to come. I’m not sure anyone saw this coming for him his rookie season. He is making a run at the MVP award, playing as well as almost any quarterback in the game. Stroud is just so fun to watch. I can’t wait to see what his future holds. He is a special player.

I am thankful for the red zone channel. This channel is just amazing and makes watching football a totally different experience. And this is all because of fantasy football. Fantasy football is the reason this channel exists. Everyone wants to know who is scoring for their teams, so seeing all the scores of all the games was the next logical step. Is there any better way to watch the games? I don’t think so.

And along the same lines of the red zone channel, I am thankful for Twitter (or whatever it is called these days). This is another media that has really changed the landscape of fantasy sports. We get so many updates so quickly now. It is used to be us scouring the newspapers to read the practice reports. Now we get the practice reports in about real time. There is no reason to miss out on injury updates or position updates with all the news at our disposal these days. We have come a long way in those regards.

Lastly, I am thankful to work for the best fantasy sports site in the business, RealTime Fantasy Sports. This community at RTSports is amazing. I interact with users of our site every day. It is so fun getting to know the passionate users of our site. I also enjoy interviewing them, especially for our videos. These guys know their stuff and can be a great benefit for our users. We are fortunate to have so many great players here at RTSports. Thank you for making our site so special.

News and Notes: The Steelers fired offensive coordinator Matt Canada on Tuesday. The move was imminent with the Steelers offense struggling much of the year. . . . .The Colts released former All-Pro linebacker Shaquille Leonard on Tuesday. Leonard should find work in a hurry with his track record. . . . .The Rams waived running back Darrell Henderson on Tuesday. With Kyren Williams due back this week, Henderson was expendable.

HOT PLAYS

Rachaad White, RB, Bucs. If you can believe this, White is fourth overall in fantasy running back scoring and third his last three games. He has 17-plus fantasy points four straight games. He is getting a ton of work in the passing game, giving him a great weekly floor. White has at least six receptions three of five games. He has become a must start for fantasy teams. He can have another big game this week against the Colts, a team that allows the fourth most fantasy points to running backs.

Brandon Aiyuk, WR, 49ers. Aiyuk has 100-yard games two of his last three. He is sixth overall in fantasy receiver scoring his last three games. Aiyuk has four 100-yard games for the season. He has taken his game to another level this year, showing he is an elite NFL receiver. Expect more of the same this week against the Seahawks. Seattle allows the 14th most fantasy points to receivers and are 21st overall against the pass.

Brian Robinson, RB, Commanders. It is flying under the radar a bit but Robinson is sixth overall in fantasy running back scoring. He is having a big season for fantasy teams. He has topped 20 fantasy points three times, including his last two games. The big difference for him this year is more work in the passing game. He has 13 receptions his last two games. And while you might be concerned to start him this week against the Cowboys, we think he is a great start. Robinson is setup to get a lot of work in the passing game once again with the Commanders likely playing from behind.

Dak Prescott, QB, Cowboys. Prescott started his season slow, but has quickly put that behind him. He is now fifth overall in fantasy quarterback scoring and second his last three games. He has 27-plus fantasy points four of five games. This Cowboys offense is clicking. Prescott has multiple scores five straight games. Prescott plays a Commanders team this week that couldn’t stop Tommy DeVito last week. Washington allows the second most fantasy points to quarterbacks and are 30th overall against the pass.

Michael Pittman, WR, Colts. Some people were down on Pittman before the start of the season with some uncertainty surrounding the Colts passing game. Well, Pittman has been great, playing even better than last year’s breakout season. He is 12th overall in fantasy receiver scoring. Heh as three straight games with eight receptions and hit that mark seven times this year. Pittman is a plug and play option, showing great consistency in this offense. Pittman could have a huge game this week. He plays the Bucs, a team that allows the fifth most fantasy points to receivers and are 31st against the pass, allowing 270.7-passing yards per game.

COLD PLAYS

A.J. Dillon, RB, Packers. Dillon has gotten plenty of work this year, but his numbers haven’t been very good. His season-high in rushing yards is just 76 despite having double-digit carries six games. He also has jus tone touchdown despite being the goal-line back for the Packers. Even if Aaron Jones is out this week, which is likely, Dillon isn’t a great fantasy start against the Lions because of his production this year. Detroit also allows the fifth fewest fantasy points to running backs and are fifth overall against the run.

Russell Wilson, QB, Broncos. Wilson has been much better this season, doing a much better job than his first season in Denver. He got off to a great start, having 24-plus fantasy points three of his first five games. Wilson has more than 20 fantasy points just once since Week 5, though. He has played fine and the Broncos are winning, but Wilson isn’t helping fantasy teams. He has fewer than 20 fantasy points four of five games. He also has topped 200-passing yards just once during that five-game stretch. It should be more of the same for Wilson this week against a great Browns defense. Cleveland allows the fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks and are first overall against the pass.

Jaylen Waddle, WR, Dolphins. Waddle isn't having near the season of last year. He is just 30th overall in fantasy receiver scoring. He has fewer than 60 yards two straight games and failed to reach double-digit fantasy points each of those games. It is tough to bench a player like Waddle with such a high ceiling, but if you have quality options on your bench, you might want to consider doing that this week. Waddle gets a great Jet secondary. The Jets allow the fewest fantasy points to receivers and are fifth overall against the pass.

Sam Howell, QB, Commanders. Howell has been a big surprise this year, being eighth overall in fantasy quarterback scoring. He didn’t even play well last week but still helped fantasy teams, scoring 23.25 fantasy points. The concern for him this week is staying upright against a great Cowboys front four. Howell might not have enough time to throw and complete any passes down the field, making him a scary fantasy play. Dallas is second overall against the pass and allow the sixth fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks this season.

Davante Adams, WR, Raiders. Adams is finally getting more volume. He has 16 targets his last two games. All he needed was a coaching change to get more involved in the offense. But even with the said, his numbers aren’t off the charts. He has few than double-digit fantasy points two of four games and four of his last seven. He can still be hit or miss in an offense starting a rookie quarterback. We wouldn’t be surprised if Adams struggles some this week. The Chiefs managed to shutdown A.J. Brown last week, who was playing the best of any receiver coming into that game. It was an impressive performance. The pass defense has done that much of the season, though. Kansas City allows the fifth fewest fantasy points to receivers and are fourth overall against the pass.

SLEEPERS

Isaiah Likely, TE, Ravens. With Mark Andrews hurt, Likely gets his chance to shine as the starting tight end for the Ravens. He has done well in this role when given the chance. He has big-game potential. He has a great matchup for a start this week. Likely plays the Chargers, a team that is awful against the pass. The Chargers allow the most passing yards in all of football, giving up 291.8-passing yards per game. Los Angeles allows more than 20 yards than the next highest team.

Demario Douglas, WR, Patriots. It is tough to trust anyone in the Patriots offense, but Douglas is getting it done despite some terrible quarterback play. He has at least four receptions four straight games. He has double-digit fantasy points three of those games. He is a solid WR3 at this stage of the season, getting plenty of volume in the Patriots offense. Douglas gets the Giants this week, a team that allows the fourth most fantasy points to receivers. He can keep it going.

Salvon Ahmed, RB, Dolphins. It would not surprise to see the Dolphins play it safe with De’Von Achane this weekend, holding him out of Friday’s game. This would open the door for Ahmed to be the top backup for the Dolphins. Ahmed can do well in that role in this explosive offense. He found the end zone last week and has double-digit fantasy points two of his last five games. Ahmed has at least three receptions three of five games, giving him a decent weekly fantasy floor. You could see the Dolphins getting up big against the Jets this week, leading to more carries for Ahmed, Plus, the Jets are just 30th overall against the run, allowing 137.6-rushing yards per game. New York also allows the ninth most fantasy points to running backs.

Tyler Conklin, TE, Jets. Conklin has been pretty good in a bad Jets passing game. He has 15 receptions on 16 targets his last three games. He has four games with double-digit fantasy points. It is hard to trust anyone in the Jets passing game, but maybe a change at quarterback will get it going a little. It can’t hurt, right? Conklin is worth a look at tight end this week against Miami. The Dolphins could get up big in this game and have allowed 15-passing touchdowns this season. Conklin could get a lot of volume with the Jets playing from behind, having to throw the ball.

Kareem Hunt, RB, Browns. Hunt has six straight games with double-digit carries. He has found the end zone five of those games. His production has been pretty consistent in a run-heavy offense. He should get the volume again this week against a bad Broncos rush defense. Denver allows the most fantasy points to running backs and are dead last against the run, allowing 160-rushing yards per game. Hunt is a solid flex play in this matchup.

High/Low Scoring Games

Each week we will take a look at some of the high and low scoring games for the coming week. In high scoring affairs, get your marginal players on those teams in your lineup to take advantage of the possible points barrage. And in the low scoring games, keep those marginal players on the bench and make sure to have your defenses involved in those contests.

High Scoring Games: Packers/Lions, Commanders/Cowboys, Jaguars/Texans, Bills/Eagles, Ravens/Chargers.

Low Scoring Games:  Panthers/Titans, Steelers/Bengals, Patriots/Giants, Browns/Broncos.

Tee Higgins Jun 6 10:30pm CT
Tee Higgins

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins said that he changed his offseason regimen looking to prevent injuries while also focusing on both speed and strength. "Get my muscles right. Make sure I know what I'm doing muscles-wise," said Higgins, who returned to his usual offseason trainer in Miami. "I did a lot of everything. I was on the track a lot. I was in the weight room a lot weightlifting." Bengals.com's Geoff Hobson writes that the 26-year-old is looking as sleek as ever after missing five games in 2024 due to soft-tissue injuries. Despite missing five games last year, Higgins caught 73 passes (one shy of his career-high) for 911 receiving yards and a career-best 10 touchdowns in 12 games (nine starts). There will be even more expectations on Higgins to stay healthy after he signed a four-year, $115 million extension in March. Higgins has never played in a full season, but if he does, he should have a great shot at reaching 1,000 receiving yards for the third time in six seasons.

Lamar Jackson Jun 6 10:20pm CT
Lamar Jackson

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that a contract extension for star quarterback Lamar Jackson is on the docket for the Baltimore Ravens. "We're in the introductory stage of looking at what an extension looks like," general manager Eric DeCosta said. As things stand right now, Jackson is the 10th-highest paid QB in the NFL. The 28-year-old four-time Pro Bowler, three-time All-Pro and two-time MVP not only deserves a new contract, but the Ravens want to get one done so that they can lower his high salary cap number. If Jackson becomes the highest-paid signal-caller in the league, which is probably likely, he'll make more than $60 million per year. He was incredible last year as the QB1 in fantasy with a career-high 4,172 passing yards, 41 TDs and only four picks in 17 regular-season starts while adding 915 rushing yards and four more TDs. As long as he stays healthy, he's pretty much a lock as a top-five QB.

Tyreek Hill Jun 6 7:50pm CT
Tyreek Hill

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (wrist) will not be cleared to catch passes until August. The 31-year-old wideout is working his way back from wrist surgery he underwent earlier in the offseason. This wrist injury bothered Hill at times during the 2024 campaign, but he did not miss any games. Last season, Hill had a disappointing campaign by his standards as he tallied just 959 yards and six scores on 81 receptions. Hill saw his production drop with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa missing time with a concussion. During his first two seasons in Miami, Hill was an elite wideout in fantasy as he tallied at least 1,700 yards per season and found the back of the end zone 21 total times. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his progression during training in camp, in case he faces any setbacks. If Hill were to miss time with this injury, fantasy managers should expect Jaylen Waddle and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, who the team acquired in free agency, to operate as the top wideouts. Even though he had a down season in 2024, given his elite speed, Hill should be well-positioned to return to form in 2025, provided he remains fully healthy.

Rome Odunze Jun 6 7:30pm CT
Rome Odunze

Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze believes he's going to take a major step forward in his second professional season. Odunze had high expectations after being drafted as the No. 9 overall pick during last year's draft. He finished with 54 receptions, 734 yards, and three touchdowns across 17 games last season. To be fair, nothing seemed to go right for the Bears offense last season. They tried to get Odunze involved with over 100 targets, but the poor play of the offensive line made it difficult for them. Despite that, the Bears believe Odunze is a special player that can take a big leap this next season. Odunze said his goal is to get at least 1,000 receiving yards and double-digit touchdowns. The Bears have added talent on offense, so we'll see if that goal is achievable, but regardless fantasy managers should probably hold Odunze and see what happens.

Keilan Robinson Jun 6 7:10pm CT
Keilan Robinson

The Philadelphia Eagles have claimed running back Keilan Robinson off waivers from the Jacksonville Jaguars on Friday. The Jags decided to move on from Robinson after drafting him in the fifth round of last year's draft. Robinson basically only played special teams, but deserves a chance to prove himself as an offensive player. He'll have an uphill battle to earn a spot in camp, but it's possible he makes the team as a special teams player. In a corresponding move, wide receiver Ife Adeyi has been waived by the organization.

Ladd McConkey Jun 6 7:00pm CT
Ladd McConkey

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey dealt with multiple injuries last season, but still only missed one game during the regular season. The rookie wideout seemed banged up throughout most of the season, but still put up strong numbers. He finished with 1,149 receiving yards with 82 receptions and seven touchdowns in 16 games (14 starts) with the Chargers last season. Now, McConkey is focusing on the art of falling down in order to protect himself from injury. McConkey wants to learn how to fall safely to avoid serious injury and stay on the field as much as possible. It's nice to see such a young player taking care of his body this early in his career. McConkey was a stud last season and his value figures to only go up.

Gardner Minshew II Jun 6 3:00pm CT
Gardner Minshew II

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Gardner Minshew II (collarbone) has been throwing during voluntary organized team activities. Minshew broke his collarbone in 2024 while with the Las Vegas Raiders and was limited to 10 games (nine starts), in which he threw for 2,013 yards, nine touchdowns and 10 interceptions in his only year in the desert. Now that he's recovered from the injury, the 29-year-old signal-caller is expected to open the 2025 season as the backup to starter Patrick Mahomes, with Bailey Zappe likely being named the third-stringer. Minshew was a first-time Pro Bowler in 2023 with the Indianapolis Colts, but he'll be off the fantasy radar completely in his seventh season in the NFL as long as Mahomes stays healthy.

From RotoBaller

Rondale Moore Jun 6 2:40pm CT
Rondale Moore

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Rondale Moore (knee) has been participating in the team's voluntary organized team activities. Moore didn't play at all last year with the Atlanta Falcons after suffering a season-ending knee injury before the season started. The 24-year-old pass-catcher is now healthy and is trying to carve out a depth role in his first year with Minnesota behind Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison and Jalen Nailor. The former second-round pick (49th overall) by the Arizona Cardinals in 2021 out of Purdue caught 135 passes on 182 targets for 1,201 yards and three touchdowns (one each year) in his first three years in the NFL in Arizona. Not only will Moore probably not be on the field all that much if Jefferson, Addison and Nailor stay healthy, but he could have lost notable speed after his serious knee injury. Moore is off the fantasy radar for now in most leagues.

Colston Loveland Jun 6 2:30pm CT
Colston Loveland

Chicago Bears rookie first-round tight end Colston Loveland (shoulder) was spotted in uniform during mandatory minicamp this week and could be getting closer to a return after having shoulder surgery, according to The Athletic's Adam Jahns. "I just knew the springtime here, he wasn't going to be available," head coach Ben Johnson said, "and at some point here in camp, we should get the green light." The 21-year-old 10th overall pick back in April has been around the team, but he's missing valuable on-field reps heading into his first NFL season. The Bears obviously like the Michigan product a lot, and the pass-catching TE becomes more attractive when paired with Johnson's offensive mind. There's a lot to like about Loveland long term, but it could be difficult for him to produce consistently with Cole Kmet still around. Losing development time this offseason is not a good start.

From RotoBaller

Kyle Monangai Jun 6 2:20pm CT
Kyle Monangai

Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson said that rookie seventh-round running back Kyle Monangai has "really stepped up" during mandatory minicamp, including catching a touchdown pass from quarterback Caleb Williams during a situational drill on Wednesday. "I appreciate the attention to detail and the pride he takes and how quickly he's picking things up," Johnson said of Monangai. The 23-year-old Rutgers product doesn't have excellent speed or hands for a running back, but he could be an asset for the Bears in short-yardage and goal-line situations down the road. D'Andre Swift is Chicago's clear lead back still heading into the 2025 season, but Monangai could have a real shot to battle with Roschon Johnson for the backup role. And we all know that Johnson has a history of a two-back system from his time running Detroit's offense. Monangai won't be on the redraft fantasy radar, though.

From RotoBaller

Anthony Richardson Jun 6 2:10pm CT
Anthony Richardson

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson (shoulder) isn't dealing with any structural damage to his surgically-repaired right shoulder after he recently reported soreness in the same arm that he had surgery on in 2023 to fix his AC joint. Richardson went hard this offseason in terms of throwing the football and reported soreness at organized team activities, causing the Colts to shut him down through next week's mandatory minicamp. For now, the former first-rounder will rest up, and he fully expects to be ready for training camp at the end of July. This doesn't mean Richardson can't still win the QB battle with Daniel Jones in camp, but it certainly doesn't help his chances and puts him behind the eight ball. Richardson has the higher fantasy ceiling than Jones for sure, but injuries and questions about him as a passer have really tanked his value going into 2025.

From RotoBaller

Isaac Guerendo Jun 6 12:00pm CT
Isaac Guerendo

San Francisco 49ers running back Isaac Guerendo (ankle, knee) has been taking part in voluntary organized team activities this spring after injuring his MCL and spraining his ankle in the Week 18 regular-season finale last year. Guerendo, a fourth-round pick (129th overall) in 2024, should be a full-go for the start of mandatory minicamp on June 10. All-Pro Christian McCaffrey (knee) is also back and ready to roll after missing the majority of the 2024 campaign, so Guerendo will enter the 2025 season as the backup, but Jordan Mason was traded to the Minnesota Vikings and Elijah Mitchell left in free agency. The 24-year-old Guerendo had 5.0 yards per carry on his 84 rushing attempts last year for 420 yards and four touchdowns in 16 games (three starts), adding 15 catches for 152 yards through the air. Consider him a high-upside handcuff behind the injury-prone CMC.

From RotoBaller

Evan Engram Jun 6 11:50am CT
Evan Engram

The Denver Broncos had high hopes for tight end Evan Engram when they signed him in free agency this offseason, and they are liking what they have seen so far from him during voluntary organized team activities. Engram was limited to nine games in 2024 with the Jacksonville Jaguars due to hamstring and shoulder injuries, but he's a two-time Pro Bowler who had 114 catches for 963 yards as recently as 2023. Head coach Sean Payton has a desire to add a Joker player to the offense, and he pitched the idea to Engram before he signed. Payton said Engram has shown "real good instincts" during workouts. The 30-year-old veteran has been impressed with quarterback Bo Nix and wants to help him take the next step in his development in his second NFL season. As the potential No. 2 target behind receiver Courtland Sutton, Engram has plenty of bounce-back potential as a TE1 in 2025 in fantasy.

From RotoBaller

Alvin Kamara Jun 6 11:40am CT
Alvin Kamara

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (groin) has not been participating in voluntary organized team activities this spring after missing the final three games in 2024 due to a groin injury. However, Kamara is expected to be recovered from the injury and should be back in action for the start of mandatory minicamp from June 10-12. There's no question that the 29-year-old will remain the team's lead back under new head coach Kellen Moore, but The New Orleans Times-Picayune's Matthew Paras writes that the competition behind Kamara is wide open between Kendre Miller, rookie Devin Neal and Clyde Edwards-Helaire. Kamara is nearing the dreaded 30-year-old mark for RBs, but the volume should continue to be there in 2025 to make him fantasy relevant. Injuries are becoming more of a concern, but Kamara should continue to be a stud in PPR leagues.

Derek Carr Jun 6 11:30am CT
Derek Carr

Former New Orleans Saints and Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr (shoulder) made a surprising decision to hang up his cleats and retire from the NFL this offseason. "That part was tough because I didn't want to have surgery and just sit there andit sounds crazy butjust take the Saints money," Carr said. He had two seasons left on the four-year, $150 million deal he signed with the Saints in 2023, although he gave up the $30 million salary he was set to earn in 2025. The four-time Pro Bowler was dealing with a right-shoulder injury that was going to require surgery and leave his availability uncertain for the start of the regular season this fall. Carr said the Saints wanted him to keep playing, but he couldn't commit to another season. With Carr now gone, the Saints will have a QB competition this summer, primarily between rookie second-rounder Tyler Shough and Spencer Rattler.

From RotoBaller

Trevor Lawrence Jun 6 11:20am CT
Trevor Lawrence

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Liam Coen has been impressed with quarterback Trevor Lawrence as he learns a new offense during voluntary organized team activities this spring. "Is he operating the offense at a high level?" Coen asked. "Yes, he is right now." The new head coach has stressed footwork for the former first overall pick, and he has seen improvement from Lawrence in that area as well. 2024 was a disappointment for Lawrence due to injuries and poor performance, as he completed just 60.6% of his passes for 2,045 yards, 11 touchdowns and seven interceptions in 10 games. His fantasy stock is obviously way down going into 2025, but Lawrence should be more efficient with Coen in town and after the team added two-way star Travis Hunter with the second overall pick in the draft. Still, nobody should be considering Lawrence a QB1 in fantasy.

Puka Nacua Jun 5 11:00pm CT
Puka Nacua

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua said he has already learned a lot from veteran wideout Davante Adams. Since gaining knowledge from the 11-year NFL veteran, Nacua's route-running has looked sharper in practice, according to offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur. It appears Nacua is using more of the "elusive" methods off the line of scrimmage instead of the brute force he often applies at the start of his routes. The 24-year-old is already one of the best wideouts in the NFL after ranking in the top 10 in yards per route run against man coverage (seventh) and zone coverage (first), but the former fifth-rounder in 2023 could become even more deadly if he adds some finesse to his physical style of play. Nacua set the rookie receiving record in 2023 and was more efficient in 2024 despite not reaching 1,000 yards due to a knee injury. Injuries could be an issue, but Nacua is a high-end WR1 otherwise.

Michael Pittman Jr. Jun 5 10:40pm CT
Michael Pittman Jr.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. (knee) had an initial injury scare in voluntary OTA practice on Thursday when he bumped knees with a defender, but he's expected to be OK, a source told FOX 59's Mike Chappell. Pittman is sore and expected to be fine, but he'll likely be held out of mandatory minicamp next week as a precaution. The initial thought was that the 27-year-old former second-round pick (34th overall) in 2020 out of USC was dealing with another back injury, which was something he battled through for the majority of the 2024 campaign. He should be ready to go for training camp this summer as he looks to bounce back from a 69-808-3 line in 16 games (14 starts) in 2024. Pittman still has WR2 upside, but as a possession receiver, his best-case scenario for fantasy upside in 2025 is if Daniel Jones wins the QB battle over Anthony Richardson (shoulder).

From RotoBaller

Anthony Richardson Jun 5 10:40pm CT
Anthony Richardson

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson (shoulder) is reportedly dealing with inflammation in the surgically repaired AC joint in his right arm, and he's been recommended rest, according to CBS Sports' Jonathan Jones. The belief is the injury won't impact his availability for the start of training camp this summer. The 23-year-old former fourth overall pick's injury doesn't sound serious, but he's off to a bad start in the offseason competition with Daniel Jones and won't practice during mandatory minicamp next week. It's also an injury that cut short his rookie year in 2023. Richardson has elite rushing ability, which gives him a much higher fantasy ceiling than Jones, but he hasn't been able to stay healthy and still has plenty of developing to do as a passer. Nothing is decided yet, but Jones is gaining momentum because of this. The former Florida Gator is losing steam in dynasty/keeper formats.

Minkah Fitzpatrick Jun 5 8:10pm CT

The Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to terms with former Los Angeles Rams defensive back Quindell Johnson on a one-year, $960,000 contract. Johnson signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent back in 2023, but was claimed off waivers by the Chicago Bears, with whom he spent the season. He appeared in nine games for the team, notching an interception and two tackles. In 2024, the Memphis product rejoined Los Angeles, though he did not suit up for a single contest. Johnson is currently ranked third (unofficially) on the Steelers' depth chart behind safety Minkah Fitzpatrick and Juan Thornhill. That is where he projects to operate if he makes the team.
